Delete your account

You can delete your Assertr account and associated data at any time. Two routes are available.
Option 1: In-app deletion
- Open the Assertr app.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to "Account".
- Tap "Delete account".
- Confirm.
Option 2: Email request
Email delete@assertr.app from the address on your account with:
- Subject: "Account deletion request".
- The email address associated with your account.
- Your username (if known).
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Profile information.
- Session transcripts, feedback, and saved recordings.
- Progress, XP, levels, and badges.
- Saved preferences and consents.
What may be retained
- Backups, up to 90 days, after which they roll off.
- Billing and tax records, up to 7 years, to meet UK accounting obligations.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot re-identify you.
Before you delete
- Cancel any active subscription in the App Store or Google Play first, deleting your account does not cancel store billing.
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
