Delete your account

You can delete your Assertr account and associated data at any time. Two routes are available.

Option 1: In-app deletion

  1. Open the Assertr app.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Scroll to "Account".
  4. Tap "Delete account".
  5. Confirm.

Option 2: Email request

Email delete@assertr.app from the address on your account with:

  • Subject: "Account deletion request".
  • The email address associated with your account.
  • Your username (if known).

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Profile information.
  • Session transcripts, feedback, and saved recordings.
  • Progress, XP, levels, and badges.
  • Saved preferences and consents.

What may be retained

  • Backups, up to 90 days, after which they roll off.
  • Billing and tax records, up to 7 years, to meet UK accounting obligations.
  • Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot re-identify you.

Before you delete

  • Cancel any active subscription in the App Store or Google Play first, deleting your account does not cancel store billing.
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
